    • A nasty one? 08700668408

    08700 668 408 (08700 668408) has already called me a few times and keep just hanging up. Calling them back - which I advise you DON’T do! - just says number not recognised (but this is there system advising me this, not my phone provider, I think… bad!). My advice is don’t call them back - but do call your operator and make sure they are blocked if they persist. Companies like this should be banned from calling. Make sure you’re registered with TPS also, it’s extremely easy to do!

      Have you or others been conned into a new contract for your mobile, landline, gas or electricity? Or worse still, have you had your account for any of these services switched without your knowledge or consent? If so, we would like to hear from you.

      The number is licensed to Opal Telecom Limited. In order to determine who is responsible for renting out the line, you need to contact them in the first instance.
      You may then need to contact intermediary companies - there may be a chain of sub-leasing in operation - but soon you will find a company who are rightly embarrassed by the bad behaviour of the cold calling company. Complain to them and report back here.
